Game called: End to End
4v4 in playing area. 4 neutrals, 2 on each end.
Team with ball receives point by reaching the end. Cannot receive another point until they make it to opposite end. Neutrals can pass to each other (if on same end)
Coaching points:
- Playing shape vs Destroying shape
First we want to acknowledge the offense. What is our shape? How can we position ourselves to help our teammates within the area + help our neutrals that are on the outside? Splitting passes / through balls / getting wide / space in behind / using the drop back / in & out of space
Destroying the space is for defense. How can we close down the space? Force to one side, no turns, work together, communication is key. Working hard vs working smart.

End to End + Goals + Midfield zone
4 v 4 + 2 neutrals on outside + 2 neutrals in midfield zone
Attacking team scores a goal = 1 point
Attacking team scores a goal using outside neutrals = 2 points
Attacking team scores a goal using midfield neutrals = 3 points
Coaching points similar to activity with added emphasis on finding our center mids.
- Understanding width and depth of field
- Usage of neutrals
- Movement with / without ball
