4 player passing and 1st touch
Set up
2 sets of 3 cones, 4 players in two groups of 2. 3 cones set up 3 yards apart. Another set up 5 yards away
Instructions:
Server starts with ball as active player checks in front of cone. Checking player sets ball back and shuffles behind cone. Server plays back and receiving player takes a touch to next gap. Continue from left to right for 1-2 minutes and switch.
Progression:
p1 - When players reach the end they advance to the set of cones behind them complete on the other side.

2v2 + 4
Set up:
Two 25 x 25 yard grids. 2v2 in the middle with 4 neutral players on the outside.
Instructions:
Game of 2v2 inside the square with 4 neutral players. 3 passes = 1 point.
Progressions:
After 3 passes, pass to neutral player switches attack.
Coaching Points:
- Communication - verbal and non-verbal.
- Awareness of space/pressure - head up.
- Ability to receive into space, away from pressure.
- Weight and accuracy of pass.
- Angle and distance of support.
- Movement to improve positioning on the field.

4v4 + 6 neutral
Setup
Full field, 4v4 inside area, 2 neutrals on each side and one on each end.
Coaching Points:

- Weight and accuracy of pass.
- Angle and distance of support.
- Movement to improve positioning on the field.

Overlap shooting
Instructions:
3 passes to 2, 2 to 1 and 1 back to 2, 2 lays off for overlapping 3 for a shot. Rotation is 1-2-3.

Description
a) Players always sprint to be diagonally opposite each other. Perform footskill at each corner.
b) Players dribble and stop ball. The sprint an L-shape and swap balls.
c) Players dribble to cone then pass. Players must sprint back to receive the ball.
d) Players sprint into the middle, then one reacts and goes to opposite corner. Alternate partners.
Coaching Points:
Players should always be on their toes and quick to react to their partners movements. It is also important that they keep a low centre of gravity.
