Skill training
The team defending the big goal set up in 1– 2–2 (including keeper) formation.
The attacking team play 1–1-3 formation where is the coach serving into them.
Overload the attacking team if numbers allow or use a joker.
Rotate the players through each team and positions.
Coaching points
Can you isolate the defender 1v1 and turn away from himto get a shot.
Can you get level and outside of the defender then comeback inside to take him on. Ask for the ball on the opposite side of your bodythat you intend to take the defender on.
Can we pass the ball into the best area to help yourt eammate achieve success?

SSG limited coaching, observe, encourage
Play 1-1-1-2 formation to encourage 1 v 1 's in the attacking half of the pitch.

Split the squad in half, half the players on the outside of the square, the other half inside. The outside players serve the ball to the inside players.
The receiving player on the inside does a turn with the inside of his foot and goes and plays the ball to another player on the outside of the grid.
Start slowly to get a feel for the exercise and gradually increase the speed and sharpness of the term.
Coaching points
Feint to go one way by dropping your shoulder in one direction and then make your turn away in the opposite direction
Before receiving the ball, have a little look over your shoulder to see where the defender is.
When turning with the outside of the foot, drop the opposite knee, get a low centre of gravity and then spring away from the turn in one motion.

Skill introduction
The drill starts with a central player passing to the player with his back to and goals. Initially, the polls act as defenders.
The player with his back to goal turns and losers the defender,takes 2 to 3 quick touches and shoots for goal.
Coaching points
Can you check away from the defender and then come back to receive the ball?
Have a little look over your shoulder so you can see thepositioning of the defender.
Try and speed away from the defender all in one motion.
Once you get away from the defender, Accelerate quickly towards the goal.
Progression
Use both inside and outside of both feet.
Do a drag back instead of a spinning turn?
