Small sided 5 v 3 Dutch Combination Play (20min)
5 v 3 dutch style
Transition. Orange must keep posession with side players and try to find the attacking player in the center (representing midfielder or fwd). If green wins the ball they can exit the grid by dribbling or passing through possession team)
Cp's- Sharp passing and receiving, communicate, constant movement on and off the ball, offer angles of support

Stage 2 (20 min)
3v2 in 20x20 area. 3 attackers connect 3 passes, then two of the three midfielders play forward into the #9 (Forward) and the two midfielders & forward combine to goal. Players look for combination play (Wall pass, overlap, etc.) to create space to go to goal. Offside line keeps defender high. Defender may score in counter goals.
Variation 1: Defending midfielders may drop in when ball is played to #9.
Variation 2: Add #7 & #11 Attackers + 2nd Defender @ back line
CP: Angles of support, quick transition, communication, timing & weight of passes

Stage 3: ESSG 8 v 7 (20 min)
Area: Half field, Intensity: Med (3:1)
Objectives: Crate a 2v2 to combine centrally or wide using overlaping runs or wall passes
Set Up: Players must commit the defender adn communicate with their teammates to beat the defenders and go to goal. Use of 3rd person runs and combinations are now available using #2 & #3. Offside is in effect. Defenders can score through counter goals. Ball starts from goal kicks.
