Finishing
Create movements in the penalty area
Stay composed when shooting in the penalty area

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Finishing in the box - set up as above with 4 servers (A, B, C, and D) with 2 balls each, an attacker on the penalty spot and a gk. For numbers set up 2 drills and have spare players practising driving the ball at each other on theground at 10 yard distance.
The attacker will have 8 shots in as quick time as possible.
Attacker moves away from the server A, then cuts back to the ball, A passes to attacker who has 1 touch to turn on goal then shoot. Attacker returns to penalty spot and repeats movement with B. Attacker then returns to penalty spot and receives a pass from server C which must be finished 1st time. Return to spot and repeat with D. Repeat from A-B-C-D.
Progressions - servers can serve ball in the air/bouncing, bring in a defender to play against the attacker
Coaching Points - attacker call for the ball from servers, good 1st touch to turn from servers A and B, quick movement away from and back towards servers A and B, (quick movement to lose defender on progression), eye on ball, proper shooting technique, aim low far corners (body weight over ball/don't lean back).

Passing combination to shoot (15 mins)
Passing combination with shot - set up the same activity on both sides of the 18 yard box (or equivalent space). Player A passes to player B who lays the ball back with 1 touch. Player A then passes the ball down to the end line (outside the box) for Player C to run onto. Player C takes a touch to turn their body back towards the penalty spot then passes to Player B (who has made an arc run toward the penalty spot) to shoot first time (or 2 touch). Rotate positions, extra players inline at position A.
Progressions - Player C chips the ball in for a volley finish, start player c wider and have them drive a cross in (on the ground or in the air), have player C pass the ball to the edge of the box for a longer shot for player B, add a defender, have player A and B attack the ball from player C (making near post and far post runs).
Coaching Points - shoot for the corners, plant standing foot next to the ball, hips pointing to the target strike straight through the ball, toe down laces and follow through for power (body weight over the ball to keep it down), inside of the foot for close in accuracy, runs of shooting player (hold run for pass so can attack ball moving forward / run in then cut back out to lose defenders), weight and direction of passes (for player C turn their hips/body to cut the ball back towards the penalty spot/edge of box).
