Progression now from receiving a ball at hands into a step and collapse/dive dependent on level of GK.
4) Keeper starts at (A) left side of box and receives 2 passes to chest from player. After 2nd pass, (B) keeper turns towards the ball and moves diagonally to opposite cone, touches with foot and 2nd ball is played cross-side for collapse/dive.
5) Keeper starts at (A) right side of box and receives 2 passes to chest from player. After 2nd pass, (B) keeper turns towards the ball and moves diagonally to opposite cone, touches with foot and 2nd ball is played cross-side for collapse/dive.
Repeat 4x for two sets.
Quick feet to hands (15 mins)
To be used as a progression in set position and movement to attack the ball.
1) Keeper starts at back cone, moves forward to middle of 4x4 box and receives a ball once they set.
2) Keeper starts at (A) left side of box facing outward. Focus is to get eyes to ball, turning to meet shot in middle. NO DIVING. Keeper resets opposite side (B) shot from right side.
3) Keeper starts at back cone. (A) Moves forward to front of box, sets and receives ball. (B) Keeper then back pedals to rear of box, sets forward and receives 2nd shot.
Repeats 8 times each 1-3.
