Within this session you have got
4 Blue
4 Red
4 Green
4 Yellow
Two Green players starts in the middle zone, and two start where the ball is. Yellow players assist the Red and Blue teams as shown in the graph creating a 6v2
The team in possession must get the ball to the opposite side but only after making 8 passes and the transfer must be below head height.
If greens with the ball back or prevent the ball getting to the other side they swap with yellow
This drill then continues until all teams have been in the middle zone and had an opportunity to try and win the ball back.
Between transitions and rest periods use this opportunity to get coaching points across with interventions.
This drill is to be encouraged to be a high tempo and encourage the players to invite pressure.
Added defenders can be put into the drill depending on mnumbers available

Within this breakout rondo you have two boxes set up, one within the other.
Within the smaller box there is a 4v2 game the idea for reds is to keep the ball as long as possible
If green wins the ball back, the game then turns into a 6v4 in the larger square.
this can then be repeated if the reds win the ball back they return to the smaller square. Numbers can be adjusted to add a Magic player or create a greater advantage for either team.
Coaching points,
Encourage players in larger square to move off the ball and utilise space to not get caught on the side-lines.
within the smaller square players will have time for max two touch so it is importnat to move the ball quickly.
