Organization:
25x30 area setup as shown
8+ players
1 ball per player (additonal on outside)
Instructions:
- All players dribble freely inside the playing area wit a ball each
- Players aim to dribble around as many cones as possible recieving one gold coin for every island(cone) they explore(circle). Every time they go around a cone, they must stop the ball and take a coin from the pirate (coach) located in the corner. They then run it back to where they started and carry on with the ball.
Coaching Points:
- Controlled approach
- Body shape - low centre of gravity
- Awareness of space & surroundings
- Timing & execution of skill move
- Improvisation & creativity
Progressions:
Players keep score. Play 3 rounds. Highest wins
Players perform dribble/skill move around the gate (The skills from warm up)
Add a blackbeard pirate to occupy islands (coach stands near island and takes ball if player comes too close)

Organization:
20x30 players are placed on one side of the grid
Instructions:
players are instructed to dribble to the other side of the grid without being caught by the sea monster (ball stolen by coach) If their ball is stolen they become mini sea monsters.
Coaching point:
Change speed direction
awareness
headup when dribbling and running
Progressions:
Can begin activity with no soccer balls
-players must avoid being tagged by coach
-add in treasure to steal (cones, pinnies)

Organization:
Same set up as before
Extra cones and pinnies placed at the opposite end of the field
Instructions:
Players must now dribble their ball and pick up one piece of treasure to take back with them and stop it being cursed!
Keep your eye out for the Coach!
If you lose your ball to the coach, you drop your treasure and go back to start for the next round

Treasure Steal;
The Cursed Pirate has taken back the treasure - the crew need to work together and take it back!
- One of the girls must shout "Captain!", when the captain turns to her, she fires her cannonball (football) at him!
- While she does that, the girl opposite will run into the square and take some treasure!
- Only one girl at a time, or the captain will hear them!
- When all the treasure is gone, they must take it back to there parents and escape the Cursed Pirate!

Cursed Pirate
CURSED PIRATE;
The Cursed Pirate wants all his shipmates to be cursed with him, but the only way he can make that happen is by cursing his crew.
- The Cursed Pirate must touch his crew on the shoulder, his crew will then stand still and lift there arms while the Cursed Pirate places some cursed treasure at there feet.
- The other crew can save there crewmates by taking the cursed treasure and throwing it off the ship.
- Once all the treasure is gone, the girls must walk the plank and do a star jump at the end to escape the cursed Pirate!
