2 team finishing from edge of 18 yard box

Method: 2 team finishing from edge of 18 yard box

Unopposed followed by opposed practice in which player simulate finishing from the edge of the 18 yard box. Blues attack, reds serve/defend, receiver sets the attacker to run forward and cuts out one lane for the attacker to dribble through and shoot. Attacker is then served a 2nd ball and is pressured by a red player and must shoot into the smaller goals.

Coaching Points:

Movement - Attacking players must create space from the attacking player by reading the movement of the defender to defend one of the smaller goals.

Finishing Technique - as required depending on angle of shot, player must finish within 2 touches.
