Triangle set-up 20 yards from target
Players split up in half
Two stations running simultaneously
Each player with a ball
(Refer to diagram)
Instructions:
1. Player drives toward center cone of triangle, performs a move and then takes a touch left or right out of the triangle before shooting on goal.
2. Progression - Add passive defender. Player must cut in the opposite direction of where the defender is showing prior to shooting.
3. Competition: First player to ten points wins (Points scored for every successful shot that goes in the goal and was cut in the opposite direction of the defenders body positioning).
Coaching Points:
1. Angle of approach

3. Contact with the laces
4. Knee over the ball at contact
5. Placement of non kicking foot
6. Contact 2nd knuckle of big toe
7. Follow through
Progressions:
(P1) - Add passive defenders, coaches, at the top of the triangle presenting a front foot. Introduce cutting against the defenders back foot to unbalance him/her.
(P2) - Competition - 1 point for every goal with the player cutting in the opposite direction of where the defender is forcing them. Zero points for cutting in towards the direction the defender is showing. Defenders can earn one point and are allowed three seconds to steal the ball if the attacker cuts inside.
(P3) - Remove triangles. 1v1 Transition. Winner stays on. One point for a goal. No points for a shot that goes wide, but player still stays on.

Juggling / Pop challenge
Instructions:
1. Allow players to practice juggling.
2. Coach demonstrates which surface he/she would like the players to use (laces) and allows players to practice by bouncing the ball on the ground first and trying to pop the ball back up to his/her hands.
3. If this becomes to easy for the players then ask them to pop the ball before it touches the ground.
Progression:
(P1) - Pop Challenge: Players must pop the ball back up to their hands using their laces, and have to control the ball so that it doesn't go higher than their heads.
1. For the challenge the players must pop the ball up to their hands with his/her right foot, then catch it, afterwards pop the ball with their left foot and catch it (level 1).
2. After completing level 1, players must then pop the ball twice on each leg, catching it, and then finish by alternating the legs, so that the ball pops on the right and then the left.
3. If the ball is dropped, player starts back at level zero.
4. Players try to beat their latest level, or his/her peer's level.
Example: (Level 1) Right foot - pop - catch, Left foot - pop - catch; (Level 2) Right foot - 2x pop - catch, Left foot - 2x pop - catch, Right + Left foot - 1 pop in between each - catch; etc.
