This drill will consist of 3 teams the aim of this drill is to make 5 passes in your own section then switch the ball to the opposite section passing through the defending team in the middle section whilst this is happening a defending player will rush the attacking players trying to win the ball back as the attacking team is trying to build there passes up. This session is designed to work on spacial awrness and the ability to pass the ball short and long with precision.

Progressions
the progressions for this session would be to introduce 2 touch passing in the attacking sections
Another progression would be to incorporate a no head height rule
coaching points
the coaching points for this drill would be to retain possession quick passing
another point would be to make sure the balls being played accross are accurate and easy to control for the other team
a third point would be to make sure teams are communicating with the amount of passes being made and when to switch the ball.

this SSG will consist of a 15 minute game based on all the aims of the main session and the warm up the gamewill be to put practise into action keeping the realism of the game with formations and tactics

In this drill the aim is to keep the ball for an alotted amount of time using shielding, dribbling and skill to keep the defender away and to retain the ball. this drill will be consist of keeping the ball for a period of 2 minutes before swithcing the defenders and attackers around.

the progressions for this session will be to try and use different techniques.
for confident players give them one technique out of 2 of the 3 being used in this drill either only dribble only shield skill can be used in both to decive the defenders in either technique.
coaching points
the coaching point for this drill will consist of demands using drive by these can consist of one foot dibbling and head up calls helping players to use there surroundings to keep the ball.
The way the coach will will carry this task out is by pulling different attacking players out and asking them to identify there defenders weakness and then to use this to exploit space
