Using takeovers to beat a defender or switch the play

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
As above. Endlines are top of the 18 yard box and full width. One team in a 1-4-1 formation and the other team in a 2-3-1 formation.
Instructions:
Soccer. Goals are worth 1 point, and goals with a east to west take over during buildup are worth 3 points. Team with the most points wins.
Coaching Points:
* Is the switch on to fake the takeover?
* Is pressure tight enough for the takeover to be effective?
* Does defense shift with the switch of play? Then takeover is on
Progressions:
1) Free play, no restrictions

Organization:
Multiple grids as needed as above. Grid approximately 15x25. One cone endzone at one end, and two lines on each coner. One pinnie needed per grid. Approximately 5 players per grid if possible.
Instructions:
One of the first two players in line has a bib in their hand. The first two attackers in line attempt to get to the end zone without being tagged (1A). Once they are in the endzone, they are safe (2A). The defender attempts to tag either player for a point. Players still go to the end zone if tagged. Once players are in the end zone, the players can exchange the bib in a take over fasion (3B) and then the defender attempts to tag the player with the bib for a point. The attackers attempt to get both players back to the endline with the bib without being tagged to score a point (4B)
Coaching Points:
* Use your body to hide the bib (must remain in the open though)
* Quick movements and change of pace to beat defenders
* Angles of runs of player without the bib to protect that player from being tagged (spacial awareness)
Progressions:
1) Add a ball into the activity. Players may pass or dribble on attack. Defenders score if they win the ball back and score a goal.
Coaching Points:
* Use of hips to disguise movement from defender
* Check shoulder early to find out where defender is
* Where is the space? Pass or dribble?
