Switch of play/transition work
-Players are split evenly in teams with one neutral player.
-In possession team have to make 4 passes, and then switch the ball to the opposite half- teams will need players in both halves to do this. Neutral players will be a part of the in possession team and can be part of the players making passes or can wait in the other half. If they switch the ball they keep possession and make 3 passes again and keep switching play
-Out of possession team are trying to win the ball by preventing the 3 passes or preventing the switch. They must have at least two players in both halves at all times. If they win the ball, the neutral is now with them and they can start making their passes to switch the ball.
To progress this practice, goals and keepers are now added in, and players are looking to score once they switch the play.
