Attacking Free Kick
-If the kick is more middle on the field, a shot and follow up is preferred
-If the ball is placed on the wings, a mix of balls can be played
-short ball can be played or ball can be played into the box
-start with one on the end of the wall, four on the offsides line, and three in space
-play the ball short to the middle and let the players decide from there

-One on front and back post
-Mix of zonal and man to man
-leave one player at the circle for an outlet
-man mark all runners for short corners
-send two for short corners depending on the numbers in the box

-ball out at all costs
-extra man should cover space
-If the ball does not go short, man mark all players
-high levels of communication to mark players

Defending a Free Kick
-Man mark
-listen to goal keeper to set up the wall
-decide where to hold which should be even with the farthest back defender in the line
-as soon as ball is kicked, players in the wall need to get back and defend
-be prepared for uneven numbers in the box
-defend at all costs, high levels of pressure
-ball out at first convince
-high levels of communication for runs and marks
-listen to goalkeeper directions

-The runners must decide where they are running to
