Organization:
1.20 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players (8 attackers, 4 defenders) set up as shown
3.8 balls
Story/Description:
1.The castle defenders have to protect the castles (cones) from being knocked down by the wrecking balls
2.The wrecking balls have to flatten all the castles as quickly as they can
3.The castle defenders have to try and kick the wrecking balls away from the castle, the further the better!
Coaching Points:
1.Look for the open castles (observe target)
2.Keep the wrecking ball close to you
Developments:
1.P – The castle defenders have brought in a friend, the “castle re builder” (neutral Player (Light blue)) who runs around and rebuilds the knocked down castles

Organization:
2 Teams of 6, 5 field players and 1 Target forward for each team
Instructions:
Ball always starts with a Target who plays the ball out to the opposing team to attack toward the opposite goal.
Attacking team must play the ball into Target before scoring.
Target must play within 3 touches, can set the ball for a teammate to try to score on goal or turn and score themselves (can only use 2 touches to score as target player)
Rotate Target players after 3 minutes or x amount of goals
Coaching Points:
Same as previous
Movement to support the forward pass
Attitude to shoot
Progressions:
Option to play 4v4 or 5v5 in central area, with Targets and GKs in front of each goal

Organization:
1. 40x30 field set up as shown
2. Separate players into two teams
3. One goal keeper
4. One ball with additional if needed
Instructions:
1. Players will play 5v5.
2. Once a team has completed three passes they can take a shot on goal.
3. If a goal is scored or saved, ball is thrown into the air for a 50/50 ball.
4. Players are not allowed to enter the cones goalie box.
5. Team that scores the most goals wins.
Coaching Points:
1. Angle of approach – off center
2. Head up to observe target
3. Head down at the point of contact
4. Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball
5. Ankle locked, toe down
6. Contact ball – will vary depending on target area
7. Contact foot – laces
8. Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact
9. Follow through landing on striking foot

Warm Up - In Foot Bowling (10 mins)
Organization:
20x20 space
2 teams - Each play in thier own half with 5 tall cones inside the half.
4 "bowlers" play in the half" 2 "retrievers" help collect balls and get them back to area.
Instructions:
Don't cross halfway line
Use inside foot pass to bowl over the opposite teams 5 cones.
Coaching Points:
Passer - head up to find open target
-proper passing technique (ankle locked, toe up)
Defender - Move to block passes
-try to control attacker's pass, then prepare your own pass.
Progressions:
Allow players to defend cones.
Allow 1 player to cross over
