Arjen Robben Finishing Drill
Arjen Robben Shooting Drill:
Setup: 3 Shooting Areas (marked out by poles) on the edge of the 18-yard box (left, right, central).
The player cuts in from the outside of the pole, keeping the ball very close to the foot they plan to shoot with (if cutting in from the left hand side they want to be dribbling with their right foot). The player then has a snap shot at goal, aiming for the far post as soon as they reach the center of the poles.
Progression: Add a defender to screen the striker to add that element of realism to make it game specific.
