Dribbling and RWB Technical - 10 Minutes
Repeat the slalom race but this time with a ball
when at the end cone turn and dribble ball back
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progressions :
Different types of turn- drag back, Cruyff
Also move end cone further back to give the players a chance to open their legs up

Dribbling and Running With The Ball Skills - 10 Minutes
Create a box using 4 cones in each corner of the pitch
2 players go in each box
2 players go in the middle of the pitch
Players dribble around in each box using both feet and alternating surfaces, and
on the coaches whistle the players in the box need to move to another box without being tackled by the player in the middle
Winner is last player remaining
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Regresssion: shorten distance between boxes and reduce the tacklers down to 1 or even remove all tacklers

Running With The Ball Skills - 15 Minutes
Create two channels on the wings of the pitch
These are free areas where players can dribble into but must pass out -
they can not be tackled whilst in the free areas.
This gives them chance to stretch their legs down the wing.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Add a passive defender in the channel
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Goals scored directly from a pass coming out of the wide channels count double

SSG - 20 Minutes
All restrictions removed, encourage players to find space and try to get the ball played out wide where there will be more chance to run with the ball and open their legs up.

Warm Up (10 mins)
Warm Up - 5 Minutes
Place 4 agility poles in a line approx 1M apart
Place a cone approximately 5 metres after the last agility pole
Separate the bibs into 2 colours and place bibs on the cone
Players take it in turns to slalom through the poles and put on a bib run back and tag the next person to go
Winning team is the first team with all players bibbed up and back in line
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
The players can run through a second time but no need to re-bib.
