Instructions:
Player A takes a touch to either side to begin the activity then plays to B. Defender (passive) blocks B from opening up. B sets the ball back to A who finds C with the penetrating pass. C brings ball back to start line.
Rotation: A - Defender - B - C.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of check (open body)
- Communication (feet, set)
- Quality of passes/sets
- Awareness of pressure
- Which foot to play with/set to

Instructions:
As before, but now to goal. Each attacking player has 2 touch max each time they are in possession. Once ball finds target, they must find supporting player who is unlimited to goal. Each team takes it in turn to attack. Play for 2 mins and switch defender.
Coaching Points:
- Check to an angle - open body
- Communication - Voice, loud and early - Hands
- Awareness of the defender - Open up or drop back
- Decision - Double pass in behind (if defender follows the ball) or have ball back to feet.
- Be creative and confident when going at defender 1v1.
- Finish - Be confident and composed.
