Dynamic Warm Up w/ GK Coach
Equipment - 4 large cones
Explanation - GK (or assistant) coach activates the players physically with 12-15 dynamic stretches. Split the squad into two groups (lines) to perform the exercises.

Ball Work:
Equipment– 5 cones, 1 ball (have extra)
Explanation – 9 players. 4v4 + 1 (If more players can add extra jokers/bouncers on the outside of the area). Play 4v4 in 20x20 meter area. Players must stay in their quarter or the pitch only.
Objectives– 1st objective = reach 10 passes. Other team will do a forfeit (10 squats). 2nd Objective = 5 passes then take a shot on goal.
CoachingPoints – 1st touch, in front of the player, soft touch with foot open, use instep of foot to make the touch. Timing of the movement.
Passing and movement, passing accuracy, movement of the players into space, quality of the pass, timing of the movement and communicating.
Position, must not leave quarter, use of space, find space and call for the ball, look for a solution with the pass and 1st touch.

Tactical practice/End of session match:
Equipment– 4 goals, 6 cones.
Explanation– Split the pitch into two areas (or halves) 1st half = build up phase. 2nd half = break.
Objectives– Help the players to distinguish the difference between build up play and breaking to score and when to choose the right opportunity to do so in a match situation. Play for 10-15 mins before allowing them to complete a match without any regulation.
CoachingPoints – Build up phase requires short passes and looking for 'easy pass'. When the opportunity to break is presented you move forward fast to try and score. Positioning during both phases. Balance when breaking.

Arrival Activity:
Equipment– 8 Large cones (2 pink,6 orange), 10 balls
Explanation– Player from one line dribbles through the cones and faces defender in 1v1 situation. After the 1v1 the attacking player becomes defending player and defending player joins the back of his queue. After 5 mins add competition element (ie count the goals each team scores in determined time). To start the practice allow one player to dribble through the cones and shoot at goal uncontested.
Objectives– 1st touch, ball control under pressure (dribbling), enjoyment, physical activation.
CoachingPoints – 1st touch, soft touch with outside of the foot, small touches.
Ball control, dribbling and staying composed under pressure, don't change technique or be forced to take heavy touches.
