10 minutes- 3 sections of 3 minutes with small intervals in between to discuss
Red- out of possession (OP)
Blue- in possession (IP)
Remove the full backs (numbers 2 and 3) from IP
Remove the wingers (number 7 and 11) from OP
Manage- IP (1-4-3-3) using a player as a 6 in CDM
Coach- OP (1-4-3-3) using a player as a 10 in CAM
Ip changes to a 1-2-3-3 and OP changes to a 1-4-3-1
IP try play through the 6 and break lines through to their 9 to get goals
OP pressure the 6 using their 10, try to win the ball by intercepting the play and get the ball directly to their 9 to create a quick counter attack.
Block 1- tell them to simply try win the ball and play it to their 9 to score
Block 2- add condition that they have a time limit to win the ball and then a second time limit to score once they have won the ball.
Block 3- get extra points for scoring after winning the ball directly from the IP 6.
Counter attacking football playing through the middle, win the ball and aim to get it up to the number 9 as soon as possible to get a wuick counter attacking goal.
