-- Each box should be marked out with cones of one colour to identify each box.
-- Different colour cones along the length of the playing area at about 8-10 yards apart.
-- Each player with a ball.
Instruction:
-- 3 players assigned to each line.
-- All players will begin with a light paced dribble of the ball up the line to the last cone and will turn and dribble back. Do this 3 times to get warmed up.
-- Players in front of the skills box will execute the drill as shown.
-- Players in skills box will perform skills as directed by coach.
-- Players at back of line will rest but must stay on toes and keep moving
-- When players return from run or dribble, the players move up the line to next stage in line.
In Skills Box:
sole rolls, bells, tip taps, scissors, v-pull with both feet, etc
P1 - Change the move at cone 1 and 2 after each player has completed the drill 3 times. Switch move to scissors, V-pull, sole roll across body to other foot, etc. (demonstrate)

-- Players are assigned to play in one half and cannot pass the half court mark.
-- Players in one half can only advance ball into the other half with a pass.
-- For 1 point: players shoot ball through any of the goals for 1 point.
-- For 3 points: play is switched to the other side of the court i.e. left to right pass and then player scores

3 Goal Attack (15 mins)
Setup:
-- 3 goals of different colours as set up in diagram in each half of gym court.
-- Each defender with a ball
Instruction:
-- 6 players in each half, with 3 attackers positioned diagonally opposite from defenders.
-- Defender makes a good pass to attacker.
-- Attacker receives ball and tries to score in any of the 3 goals by dribbling ball through cones.
-- Goal in line with attacker is worth 1 point, centre goal is worth 3 points and goal where defenders start from is worth 5 points.
-- If defender wins the ball, the defender can score by dribbling the ball up to the attackers line and defender gets 3 points.
-- Switch attackers to defence after each player has attacked three times.
-- Count score and team with most points wins round 1 of the competition. Then switch 2 teams to play in other half.
-- Each attack should only last about 15 seconds. Call the play dead if attempt on goal cannot be completed in 15 seconds. Give players the 5 second warning to create intensity.
Emphasis:
-- Defenders must give a good weighted pass, at least past half. Look down at ball when passing and follow through to get accuracy. Then keep the run as you step forward through the ball.
-- Attackers need to check in to receive ball and touch ball out in front and run at defender.
-- Dribble with head up, good ball control, and use moves to beat defender but be aware of space so touches must be tight.
