Set Up: Half pitch, big goal 1 end with 2 target goals facing on half way line. 2 Teams in 2 lines positioned as shown. Def start with ball each either side of goal. Def plays to att A & defends 1v1, after that game ends, Def B plays to Att B, both A stay on pitch to create 2v2. Once play ends, players go back to teams but switch side. Play set time & rotate.
Key Points: Def 1v1 & 2v2 skills, press or cover, force player on ball away from goal or onto weak foot, awareness of support player & deny space to play through or behind, patient to win ball & counter to score.
