Screen 1

Activity Title: 4 v 4 +3

Duration: 15 Minutes
Setup: 20x15 area. Extra Balls. 6 cones
Objective: Keep possession by moving the ball from one target back to the other target.

Instructions:

  • 2 Teams playing against each other with 3 Neutral Players

  • Team in possession get Big/Wide and open up. Looking to move ball from one end to the other using neutral players.

  • Defensive team looks to regain possession by getting compact and work together.

Ways to Play- Different variations

1. Team who has possession at the end of 1-2 minutes wins. Losing team goes off.

2. Most times ball goes from one end to the other wins

3. Team with most passes in 1-2 Minutes Wins

4. Pass that splits defenders into the middle and back out gets a point.

Both teams can go outside the grid.  

Coaching Points:

  • Pass to Back foot
  • Open body to field.
  • Get big Offensively.
  • Get compact, work together on defense.  
  • Win ball quickly.
