Instructions:

Players will dribble around the space
Coach will introduce different changes of direction and get an idea of player ability to pick a move for the technical reps

Tag Game

Instructions:

Players split into 2 teams per organization
Players rotate attack, defend, off. Objective is to get through the gate without being tagged
If able to run through a gate, team gets a point and player transitions to defense
If tagged, player immediately transitions from offense to defense

Technical

Instructions:

Players across from each other will dribble at the same time.
Each player will dribble to the mid cone to either their right or left
Players will execute a given move and will drive across the end line on the opposite side
If players are cutting across the field at a hard enough angle, provide a gate for them to dribble through
Once across the end line, they will join the next line
Next player in line can go once the player in front of them is accelerating out from their move

1v1 Central Space

Instructions:

Set Up A: Defenders will play the ball across the attacker. Attackers must get across the cone line before they can score. If the defender wins the ball, they dribble over the attacker's baseline.
Set Up B: Defender plays the ball across to the attacker. Attacker drives into space and looks to use a change of direction if needed. Attackers score in the small goal. If defenders win it back, they go to the big goal.

1v1 Wide Space

Instructions:

Defender will start with the ball and pass across to the attacker
Once receiving the ball, the attacker will drive into the space and make the choice to continue forward or to change direction to the other goal.
Attackers must get past the cone line before scoring
Defenders dribble across the attacker's endline for a point if the ball is regained
