Y Drill
Players complete each Variation with their right foot and left swapping sides of the the Y Shape
1 Recieve on the half turn play pass into path of moving player
2 Recieve on the half turn play a 1-2 with top player
3 Rebound back Play Long Play a 1-2 with top player
4 Play Long play a 1-2 with top player

Organization:
1v1 + 2 Nuetral Players start off on the flank, in a 30x40 yard grid, using 2 small goals.
Instructions:
Players play a 1 vs 1 game for 2 minutes, they have two support players either side of the field they can use to help get past the defender. Support players must stay on outside of field and only have one touch.
Coaching Points:
* Drive at defender
* Look to commit them
* Observation of defender before deciding what to do
* Angle/distance of support of neutral players
* Use of correct surface to pass the ball
Progression:
Players may enter field of play to make quicker combination.

Score in either 2 goals at one end and defend other 2

Working on defending shape, recognizing where the the ball is and what we can to as individual, unit and team to combat it

how can we counter quickly to score, dont force shot - if not on work and switch ball
