We've added live defending, one defender, in red. We will still have 3 different entree balls, as this helps with different angles of passes and runs.
We will go in the same Pattern, #1 first, then #2, then #3.
-ball #1, target should always try to turn first, if the ball and space is good for it. IF the defender is tight, he can choose to lay off the ball back to #1 and have him join the game , making a 2v1.
-Ball #2, we will ask the target to come after shot is taken from first ball, like in warm up. Player #2 plays the second ball, again Striker can turn, if possible, or choose to lay off to player #2. This will give them a different entree ball. Player #2 can dribble and engage defender, possible when to dribble when to pass scenerio.
-Ball #3, target will check to ball #3. Player #1 joins the attack, if Target plays ball wide/ lays off to player #3. This will add a second runner, option for goal. This will also help move defender, possible create space for second runner.

We've now added more pressure, two center back. Play stars in same pattern #1, #2 and #3.
-Ball #1, play starts with ball being played to target. Once he receives the ball, we are live (2v2.)
-Ball #2, same as above play starts when target receives the ball.
-Ball #3, same as above.
Note:
I changed this later, Play started as soon as Player #1 , #2 or #3, touched the ball. I asked #1, #2, #3, to start on the dribble not a pass. This encouraged the center back to step higher, left space behind and our target 1v1, which is better for the attack.

Live game.
I placed balls all over the midfield line. Attacking team ( in yellow) would start play. Because balls were all over midfield, play started from different agles. Just like the exercises prior.

Set up: 3 different places of entree ball, these can be adjusted. I numbered what ball goes first, second and third. Manniquins, cones or poles can be used for the "defenders."
-Target starts free no defender. Ball 1 will start, play the ball to the target. Target will turn, possibly dribble and shoot.
-After the first shot, Target will now check to a second ball (2.) This ball can be be opposite side, up to coach. Target will make a combo/ wall pass with player #2. This will lead into a service from #2 into the box. Player #1 can join the attack.
- Player #3 now plays the last ball. You can ask the forward, or person who didn't shoot ball #2 to check for ball. A combo will be done around wide manniquin/ defender. Player #3 will end up with a ball wide, he should serve a ball into the box. Again, we should have Target and Player #1 in the box.
