Organization:
Same as previous but big/tall cone removed
Instructions:
A passes to B and applies slow partial pressure once B takes his 1st touch by walking/jogging straight towards him.
B then dribbles at A and performs a move to beat him at the correct moment then accelerates through the opposite gate/away from defender.
A and B then both turn to face each other again now in opposite gates and the rotation is repeated.
Coaching Points:
Head up looking at defenders pressure on attacking defender
short/sharp touches on ball
Timing of move execution
Cut in behind defender and accelerate away
Vary your moves to be unpredictable

Organization:
In a 20x15 Yard Grid, players play 1v1 to two gates (Yellow & Blue).
Instructions:
* Player "A" Passes to Player "B" and then defends the two gates on his end zone. Player "B" receives ball and attacks the opposite side end zone gates and can score by two ways: 1) Attacking player can score 1 point every time they execute a move against a defender when close (example: you do a scissors against a defender, then you get 1 points); 2) Attacking player can score 1 point by dribbling the ball with control through either the Yellow or Blue gates.
* If a Defending player wins possession of the ball, then they become the Attacking player and can score the same way a normal Attacker can score.
* If ball goes out of bounds, then the game is over.
* Players will switch lines after each game (A goes to the B & vice-versa), regardless of the result.
Coaching Points:
* Head up for the Attacking player before they receive the ball to recognize what decisions to make with their 1st touch, get into the attack and when driving at the Defender.
* Use the idea of having the option of going to either gate to unbalance the Defender, namely with the Scissors move (remind players it's an easy way to score a point).
* Try to "sell" the move by using your body to really get the Defender to commit* Can you take a big touch to accelerate (ronaldo) once you get even/behind the Defender to create seperation.
* Head up to ensure you see the gate to score your point.
Progressions:
remove gates and place goals either side of the grid as shown above (PG) for the attackers they must get passed the end line to score remove thisrestriction after the attacking player is showing success when changing pace after the move.

Organization:
1. Area size 20 x 30.
Instructions:
1. Players split up into 4 teams and play a round robin tournament where all teams play.
2. players must not step inside the red cone areas infront of goal this will stop goal tending ,the players must shoot from out side the area
Coaching Points:
over the 8 weeks we would like to start to implement:
1. 3 lines of attack, 1 defender, 1 midfielder, 1 forward.
2.Team mates create gaps, can player in possession look to dribble into them.
3.when to Dribble,Pass or Shoot
4.reinforce the caracteristics of each foundational player and how the use the foot work with the space they have.
Restarts
(Week 2) the restarts will be played in with a kick in for U8's and a throw in for U9-U10, any time the ball goes out of bounds. focus on corret throwing technique and encourage the players to receive the ball out of the air on which ever surface or taking a goodfirst touch from a kick in on the ground.
Rules
using the warm up as the secondary learning outcome give each team 5 points at the start of the tournament ,they will loose points for bunching up and getting to close to their players. also, they can win points by making a successful pass or move to beat the player. coach will judge .
along with wins 3points draws 2points and losses 1point the team with the most over all points including bonus points will win the tournament at the end of practice.

"Painting the Picture" of each one of the player's characteristics: * MESSI: Head up looking to get into the gaps using small, quick touches with the Pinky Toe (outside of the foot). * XAVI: Head up to recognize when there's no gaps/space, then change of direction (12 o'clock to 6 o'clock), ball comes out of your feet, and then head and eyes up getting into the new space. * RONALDO: Head up to see when there's a lot of space in front of you, then big touch to accelerate and get your head/eyes up and attack the space. *INIESTA : Head up to recognize small tight spaces ,using the inside/outside surfaces of the foot to unbalance defenders to make the space big enough to penetrate.
