Teams play 3 vs 2 in small sided games of through the gate. Teams of 3 must try and get the ball through as many gates as possible in 90 seconds and the teams of 2 must do their best to stop them by intercepting passes and keeping the ball themselves. Once 90 seconds is over, boxes opposite each other send one of their overload players to the opposite box so that the teams then switch roles. The focus here is sharp passes and an effective first touch to get away from the defenders. This smaller sided activity promotes lots of touches for all players involved.
