Goalkeeping Distribution (15 min)
Set Up: Players 1,2 &3 Rotate shooting on goal as the GK make saves. On doing this the coach shouts out a number of a player and the goalkeeper then decides to throw the ball to that player. The coach will mix up the distribution targets. - Players will be moved around - Once ball is player to 1 2 or 3, player will pass the ball to player of their choice to have the shot on goal (encourage the tracking of the play)
Coaching points: Play firm balls out of the back, GK plays to forward foot of each player, GK is the first attacker!, Its important for the goalkeeper to have a variety methods of distribution.
