PRE MUSCLE ACTIVATION - 2.50 min

ORGANIZATION

18 TO 20 PLAYERS, elastic  ankle bands, cones, area 30 x 20 yards

INSTRUCTION DETAILS

Pre-warm up - ankle bands muscle activation

  • Single steps out- 10 per leg ( place the bands at ankle site, and step slow sideways - Stationary
  • Hamstrings curls - 5 per leg
  • Streight leg kicks - 10 per leg
  • Inner thigh activation - 10 per leg
  • Hamstrings back kick - 5 per leg
  • Forward In Lateral Activation - 15" secs per leg
  • Back In Lateral activation - 15" secs per leg
  • Walking steps out - 6 steps per leg and back
  • Resistance Band squad - 15" secs

DYNAMICS ACTIVATION - 15 min

Organization

16 to 20 players, soccer balls, cones.

INSTRUCTION DETAILS

Set up an area of 30 x 20, and split it in half, set up another 10 yards area within, 8 to 10 players on each half

  • Light jog in, light jog back x 2
  • Shoulder rotation forward in, shoulder rotation back out
  • Trotting to the next 10 yards zone, jog back
  • Open the gates in, Close the gates back 
  • Arms alternating
  • Body twists
  • One knee up
  • Butt kicks
  • One knee but kicks - Karaoke back
  • Groups of two ( kick out sideways - 10 per leg, kick forward - 10 per leg )
  • Kick in 10 per leg kick out behind on their way back
  • Kick out knee out - Kick out straight on their way back
  • Front lounge stretch, jogging back

INSTRUCTION DETAILS

after they perform a light NON-STATIC stretch we will increase from light intensity to moderate intensity, on wi=hich will consist of a 45% speed, jumps, lateral agility, back agility, forward agility, and finish with a few short bouts.

  • Forward agility switching lines x 2
  • High Lateral knee over the cones, associated with a short bout to the blue diagonal cone
  • Backpedal agility among the cones
  • Lateral agility (shuffle around the cones, bout to the blue diagonal cone and perform a vertical activation (Heading)
