PROBLEM:
BLUE team overload their right hand side (RED left hand side) 6 players to 4 so that they can build and then switch through the mannequins to BLUE left sided Central midfielder who has peeled.
RED's leave the furthest player (BLUE LW) and RED RB moves inside towards the edge of the D. RED Right sided Centre Back moves across towards the left side of the D. RED LB, RED left sided CM & RED CAM (no 10) move towards left hand side of the pitch to restrict space and force the ball wide. If the REDS allow too much space the ball can be switched aerially to RED CM, RED LW.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
RED - 1-4-2-1 (Keeper; RB,LB,CBx2; CDM x2; CAM (no.10))
BLUE - 1-2-2-1-3 (CB/FB x2; CDM x2; CAM (no.10); RW,LW; CF)
BLUE team IP - look to switch the ball through the two mannequins before creating a chance to score. RED team must stop the switch & stop the goal.
PROGRESSION - BLUE team gain a player - Additional player for the build phase. The area between the two mannequins increases by 5 yards.
REGRESSION - RED team gain a player - additional Central midfielder to create an overload in the middle area to make the switch more difficult to complete. Mannequin area gets smaller by 5 yards. Time limit introduced for attacking team to make the switch.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
"can we limit the attacking team to 0 switches in this block" Individual/team - "can you win the ball back in 10s and score within 10s of regaining possession"
COND - BLUE team can score two goals if they complete a switch through the mannequins and score in the same attack.
RED team can score two goals if they stop the switch happening and regain possession and score within 10s of regain.

PROBLEM 2
BLUE TEAM spread out across the whole pitch IP. RED CAM (no.10) presses the keeper and is bypassed by the ball into the BLUE Left sided CM. RED RCM comes to press the ball. BLUE team look for a aerial ball into the 3 BLUES wide of the right side of the mannequin area.
REDS leave the furthest player - RED LB comes across towards D. RED left & right CB move across to restrict space on the BLUE's left side. RED RCM shows a body shape to force the play back. RED CAM (no.10) shows play wide once the ball goes back to BLUE LB - RED CAM must be close so that the BLUE LB cant play a quick aerial ball across the pitch. RED left CM gets across to restrict the space to play through.
RED RB will also push towards the ball and will allow a ball wide if the ball is played back to the LW. If the ball arrives at BLUE LW - RED RB shows the player down the line but restricts any crossing opportunity.
