Instructions:
Channel 1:
Double Pass
- Player A begins with the ball
- Player B checks at an angle
- B has a look over their shoulder to see defender marking tightly
- B plays a one touch pass back to A, who can receive with one touch and play long to C (who has moved into passing lane) and then dribbles down to starting end
- A goes to B, B becomes defender, defender goes to C, and C becomes A
Channel 2:
Give and Go
- Player A takes a touch forward and sees pressure coming head on from defender
- Player B checks at an angle to create passing lane
- Once defender is committed, Player A passes to Player B with the outside of foot closest to B (right in above diagram)
- Player A then continues their run around defender to receive the return pass from B (one touch return ideal) and finds the target in a gate

Coaching Points:
Recognize what type of pressure defender applies
Double Pass
- defender pressures to cut off ball down the line
- immediately relieve pressure and open passing lane to target with return pass
- body positioned to protect ball
Give and Go
- defender pressures player with ball, drive at defender
- Player B support check is sideways, hips open to field
- solid return pass into A's path

Objective is to use give and go to create #'s up opportunities and exploit for goal.
Players can either pass or dribble forward.

Organization:
- 25 x 25 area set up as shown
- 12 players (8 attackers & 4 target players) set up as shown
- 4 balls (2 per team)
- Additional balls on outside
Instructions:
- Organize players into 2 teams. 4 players of each team (8 total) start around outside of area as shown
- 2 players on outside start with the ball, look to dribble in & combine with one of their target players
- After combining with target player they must now look to pass ball to team mate on outside
- Outside players not active are able to move along their line to create passing option
- Combinations: Wall Passes, Doubles Passes & Overlaps
- After set time rotate the target players out
