Description

Preseason. ssg to provided fitness but to start imbedding principles of Transition to defending, Transition to attack. In possession width, depth and length. Make pitch big. Out of possession narrow, make pitch small, delay.

FIFA warm-up (20 mins)

Fifa warm up drill. Warm up

The FIFA 11+ program consists of three parts with a total of 15 exercises in the specified sequence. It should be performed, as a standard warm-up, at the start of every training session at least twice a week. Prior to matches, only the running exercises (parts 1 and 3) should be performed. It is important to use proper technique during all exercises. The 11+ program is broken down into three parts:

  • Slow-speed running exercises coupled with active and partner stretching.
  • Core and leg strength exercises, along with balance, plyometrics, and agility exercises.
  • Moderate/high speed running exercises integrated with cutting and pivoting movements.

When possession lost,  nearest man to the ball must go to delay or stop forward play. Other players must narrow and retreat into own half get into defensive shape then they can defend.

When possession won, Look to counter quickly.

Ball must be played into wide channel before team can score. 2 touches allowed in channel. No defending player allowed in channel
