Dribble+Pass Bayern Warm up (Engage Players)
2 Groups competition:
Player A Dribble around end line cone, Player B times their run out so they can get a well timed pass in front of them to take a first touch with speed. Objective of the game is speed+timing of runs.
Last Player in group's rotation finishes on goal, first to score wins.

Switching Ball patterns:
Example Pattern: M = 2 to 7, 7 to 10, 10 to 11, 11 to 3, 3 to 10 restart.
Reverse: 11-3,3-10, 10-2, 2-7, 7-10, 10-11, restart.
Players look to properly open body towards next target pass to speed up play. Follow Pass.
Coaching Points:
Explain situational awareness in a game, functional pattern drill for in game switching play.

Transition Game 2v2
Split into two teams, 2 players from each team step up to the line.
Must run around cone before they can play.
They can score on either goal, coach proper off the ball movement.
Variation: Play 2v2 In middle with Outside targets. Outside targets can't score.

- Players should always be working to be a passing option (2v2)
- Get yourself in a scoring position
- Quickly support when switching the field
- Move ball away from pressure

Instructions:
Teams must cross middle line to score on pugs or big goal.
-Looking for a pass with an intended target. Not a random kick across.
Variation;
Open game free play scoring however, no long balls play from the back.
Works on decision making playing out of pressure.

Training - Warm up (U8-U12) (10 mins)
Warm up Part I should be done before the training session starts.
Part I - Rondo (8 min)
- Play 3v1 or 4v1 depending on numbers
- Make the field big enough for the players on the outside to be able to be successful, but no so big the defender does not have a chance to win the ball
Part II - Dynamic Stretching (running) (7 min)
- 12 yards, two groups (one on each side of the cone)
- Do the following stretches twice
1) Jogging there, jogging back
2) But kicks there, jogging back
3) High knees there, jogging back
4) High kicks there, jogging back
5) Groin out (open the gate) there, Groin in (close the gate) back
6) Side shuffle facing each other there, Side shuffle facing each other back
7) Karaoke facing each other there, Karaoke facing each other back
8) Header, squad there, jogging back
9) Lunches with twist there, jogging back
10) Ickey shuffle forwards there, Ickey shuffle backwards back
11) 75% Sprint there, walk back
12) Sprint there, walk back
