If defenders win the ball, looking to quickly score in one of the goals on the outside
-Cover/ Pressure
-Are we cutting off a pass?
-Can we double team?

-player 2 plays ball into attackers and must make recovery run
-attackers go to goal
-player 1 delays attackers until 2 can come back to help
-angle of run of recovering defender
Progression-2v1 until 2nd defender makes recovery run.

If you have access to a goal
Split teams in 2
3v2 transition
First team starts by playing ball out to their target player (could be wide or central depending what you want to work on)
Team goes 3v2 to goal. If team defending wins ball, they go 3v2 to counter goals
After x amount of minutes , switch roles

Organization:
In open area, Players work in groups of three.
Instructions:
Players pass the ball amongst themselves until one player receives the ball and places his foot on top of the ball.
Then the two players without the ball provide pressure and cover.
Pause for three seconds then continue passing.
Coaching Points:
Communication - I got ball - force left/right.
Angle and speed of approach.
Defensive stance.
Proper distance and spacing
