Equipment
- Ball nest/bag
- 2 kickers, up to 3 keepers can rotate after every go
Drill Explanation
Number 1 will throw a ball up in the air into the middle of the 6 yard box, where the keeper will then claim it in the air and act as if it is a high cross in a game.
After the keeper has claimed the ball, he will then roll the ball to number 2 , and then will run to the front post and touch the front post.
After touching the front post, number 1 will play a low driven pass across goal where the keeper will dive and stop the ball from going across his box, in a game scenario the keeper diving onto the ball will stop the opposition having a tap-in.
After claiming the ball, keeper will roll it back to number 1 and then quickly get up and recover in time for number 2 to have a shot on goal at him from an angle
If rotating keepers than rotate after the shot, if not give the keeper a 10 second break and get the balls back in before going again.
Do this 5 times with every keeper involved before then swapping to the other side where you will then do it 5 times again.
