Set Up
Length - Edge of 6 yard box to half way
Width - 18 yard box
Split in 2 to make 2 playing areas
5v5 with 5 players acting as bouncers
BP team played ball by coach
Idea is to play 5 passes and then an accurate long ball to their 9 (player in green on opposite side of the field)
After the pass to the 9 is played the team with BP must transition into the next grid to retain possesion.
If possession is lost the team that was BPO attempts to make 5 passes and play to the 9.
Games last 3-4 minutes before rotatio of bounce players.
Progression
Limit the amount of touches on the ball
Add time limit to reach 5 passes
Objective
For the BP team to maintain possession through transitions
For the BPO team to quickly spread to maintain good possession when they become the BP team
Coaching Points
BP
- Can we use the whole space of the grid?
- When we win the ball how quickly can we spread out to create space?
- Can we transition to the next grid quickly?
BPO
- Can we apply immediate pressure?
- Can we delay passing/movements by closing down passing channels?

Coach plays the ball to blue and at that moment a player from the green team will come from zone B to zone C to try and win possession of the ball.
