Objective: To help players properly receive the ball with the correct foot and correct body positioning
Organization: 4 cones set up in a diamond shape with one cone on the middle of the setup as shown about. Cones/Poles should be 10-12 yards apart
Application & Constraints: Play begins with two balls at the top and bottom of the diamond. First player sprints to cone in middle then opens up wide of the cone/pole. Second player in line plays ball out wide with good pace to wide player then sprints to middle cone and sprints out wide to open up and receive. Play repeats itself and players follow passes. When wide player receives the ball, they open up their hips and get a touch forward into space then pass the ball to other side.
Time/rest: 2 sets x 2 minutes, 30 seconds each variation

Condition:
Limit touches if there is certain players finding it to easy, or if they are trying to run through everyone, when there is a better option to pass.

Drive by:
Pull a player to the side just to remind them of the technique, or to move them into space to be an option.
Coaching process (freeze):
