2nd Warm-up option:
- in a 18x10 yards box, players will play a 2v2+3. Two teams facing each other inside the grid, trying to find out how to progress on the field. Team must take the ball from one outside neutral to the opposite one (black players) to get a point. They can also use the neutral player in the middle (wearing black) to create a numerical superiority (3v2) and have a numerical advantage against defense team.
Defending team, if they recover the ball, they start trying to build the play and try to take the ball from one neutral to the opposite. Team with biggest amount of points, wins.
Switch neutrals.
Coaching points:
- move the ball on the floor with pace
- create passing lines all the time
- support your team mates
Why they might struggle?
- not creating passing lines (moving to support), so ball is not moving well
- wrong body shape to receive and progress the play
- putting the ball towards the pressure all the time (middle zone)
- can't connect passes because of lack of skills (field is too small for that level probably. Make a bigger grid).

4v2 building up the play: coach set up a field with a 4v2 situation. Attacking team will try to build the play with 4 players. Coach can put players in positions specifics, like in the draw. Coach can setup whatever formation he/she wants, even better if it's related with their game formations. Team try to create passing lines and use the space available to create scoring opportunities. If defense recovers the ball, they gets a point scoring in one of the two small goals, or passing to the player in between the goals (in a game scenario, a player playing in between the lines).
Coach can rotate the defense, as they will probably get tired, bringing two new defenders. Offense can stay for some reps (3-5 reps) and change after.
Coach can setup one team as attacking, rotating in between them, and one team defending, rotate a little faster as defenders. After a time, change roles.
Coaching points:
- create passing lines to support your team mates
- if you have space, use it
- near the goal, be creative
- move ball away from pressure
Why they might struggle?
- passing the ball without purpose, just passing the ball to please the coach
- going for individual plays when have no space
- bad body angles, always with the back to the game, making it harder to progress on the field
Time: 4-5 min rounds
Total: 20-22 min (2 rounds each).

Progression: we add couple more players on the field to increase the difficulty. Offensive team will attack in a 6v4 situation. Same point rules from the last game.
Again, coach can set the team according to position specifics. It's important for kids to play the positions in the sessions for couple reasons:
- they get used to with the role (we are not saying a kids should always play the same position, coach can rotate the kids in 2,3 different positions)
- they will get used to with the geometry of the game (shapes, passing lines, etc)
- also, we will increase what we call "socio-affective advantage", and that happens when players spend more time playing around the same players, creating a bond between them
Time:12-15min

Attack x defense: now, to finish the session, coach will set a defense and an offensive team. Offensive team try to score in the big goal. Defense, will protect the big goal, and when they get the ball back, they will try to score in the small goals.
Again, we will put player in position specifics.
As the session is focus on the attacking half, the offensive team will have a numerical advantage on the field (more players than the other team). In the draw, we have a 6v7, but coach will setup the players according to the number that he/she has. But again, offensive team always with more.
- What if I have equal numbers?
Keep a player out as a sub, or even use as a neutral player, helping whatever team has the ball.
Coaching points:
- move the ball on the floor with pace
- create passing lines all the time
- support your team mates
- if you have a 1v1 situation near the goal, go for it!Time:15-20 min

Warm-up: Teams will play a 5v3 possession game. The white team, with 5 players, get a point for every 5 passes. Blue team must try to recover it. If blue team recovers it, they will play, inside the square, a 3v1 situation, getting a point for every 3 passes (5,7,10 passes). If middle white player recovers it, try to play the ball to the outside players, who will try to make the 5 passes again.
Coaching Points:
- move the ball on the floor with pace
- create passing lines all the time
- support your team mates
Why the might struggle?
- not creating passing lines (moving to support), so ball is not moving well
- wrong body shape to receive and progress the play
- putting the ball towards the pressure all the time (middle zone or where they just got a pass from)
- can't connect passes because of lack of skills (field is too small for that level probably. Make a bigger grid).
* If you dont have the right numbers to play this setup, you can do:
-a 4v2. When the defense wins the ball, someone from outside needs to go in and try to recover SAP
- 3v1: players constantly moving to create passing lines. Always making triangles
Time:15-20 min
