Drill 2- OBJECTIVE: working on motor skills, dribbling and shooting into goal. 10mins
Players line up in each corner and must complete obstacle task correctly before getting a ball. One side (corner) will have rings, which players must skip one leg right and next time skip 1 leg left, within the 2 rings. Player can then get a ball and dribble to oppisite goal and score. Player will return to opposite corner and now zig-zag in and out the cones, get a ball, dribble and try to shoot on goal to score. Player will go to opposite corner with cones and zig-zag now going backwards, turn and get ball, dribble and shoot. Player moves to next corner and skips on 1 leg left in the rings, get ball and zig-zag, dribble and try to score.
NOTE: some players (based on age and motor-skill development) may find it difficult to skip/hop on 1 leg or go backwards. If so have them take their time and move slowly until comfortable, and or hop on both feet in/out the rings.

working on motor skills, dribbling, passing and shooting into goal. 12-15mins
Players are set up in teams and play regular free play. Based on age levels, we will start with, for example 4 v 4 players, 5v5..etc and 4 balls on field. The goal will be to have space for players to move and create 1v1 scenarios and passing ball to their teammates.
Before starting game go over the objects, *rules and what you are expecting players to do as a team; not just as an individual player. As team: incorporate what was done in training practice. Dribble when there is space to do saw, pick up your head, opening up to create space for themselves so to receive the ball, pass the ball to their teammates, and communicate with each other; Most importantly don't give up and have FUN!
** Let teams play and provide feedback as needed, or if you stop game every 5-8mins to give a quick LEARNING/ TEACHING MOMENT water break.
NOTE:some players (based on age and emotional? social development) may find it difficult to understanding competing for ball and trying challenge each other. So it may be necessary that a coach or 1 of the parents first play 1v1 with player to understand. After try to have them play against another child of equal age and skill development levels.
