Organization:
As shown. 4 (or more) players, 1 ball.
Instructions:
(1) Player A passes to B, who sets the ball back to A in one touch.
A then plays through to C.
C dribbles to the middle line of cones then passes to the next player in line.
Rotation: A - B - C.
Two-touch limit for A and B.
(2) Same as (1), but now B rolls forward after playing the double pass to A and receives a cross from C for a shot on goal. Rotation still A-B-C. C collects ball after shot from A and returns to line behind A.
Coaching Points:
Player B:
- Check wide to receive pass from A.
- Weight and angle of double pass back to A
All players:
- Point to where you want the pass.
- Call for the ball.
Progressions:
- Add a shadow defender to B so B can check wide to drag the defender and create the passing lane from A to C.
- Live defender on B. If defender stays tight to B, A can pass directly to C. If defender takes away double pass, B can open up and play directly to C.
