Variation of Numbers Game
The grid should already be set up from the last activity. Have nets on either side of the grid, if you don't have mini nets, use cones as gates to dribble through. After focusing on technical habits of turning and changing direction with the ball, we introduce that same topic in a fun game.
INSTRUCTIONS
Create two teams and number each player. The coach is positioned at the center of the field with all of the balls. Focus on calling numbers in 2's and 3's for the purpose of the activity. To start, play a normal game. After a few minutes, change the rules so that players can score on either goal on both sides of the field.
PROGRESSION
1. players must make at least one pass with their teammate before scoring
2. players must make at least two passes with their teammate before scoring
Regression
1. Start from goal posts

Warmup / Technical (5-10 mins)
Have your field/grid set up beforehand and perform this activity within the grid. Set up as shown in the photo. If you have more players, create more lines. Never more than 3 players per line, try to keep them in pairs with one ball per pair.
INSTRUCTIONS
First player in each lines dribbles forward to the three cones in the middle, performs a turn, and passes to their partner who performs the next action.
(1) Sole turn
(2) Outside the foot turn
(3) Weaker foot
PROGRESSION
Instead of turning at the middle cones, the players can dribble to the right of the cones and pass to the next player on the opposite side, joining that line. Start with players dribbling to the right of the cone, then to the left.
For more advanced players, include a skill move such as a scizzor or body feint when dribbling to the side of the cone.
