Organization:
10x15, 3 Groups running at same time
Instructions:
Attacker (a) always starts play, unpon their movement the defender (b) can go. Player a is trying to beat player b to and through the gates, player b must go to the opposite gate as player a
Coaching Points:
Can you look to unballance the defender with your movement (a)
Can you look to quickly make it through the gate player (b)

Organization: 2 groups running at the same time
Instructions:
2 players in the middle and 4 players on outside, players in the middle must receive from all 4 players.
Players must go through the middle before receiving another pass
Coaching Points:
- Head up as ball travels
- Weight off pass
- Quality of return pass
- Body shape to see whole activity
Progressions:
- Make it a race - first player to receive from all 4 players

Organization: 10x15, 3 Groups running at same time
Instructions:
Defender passes ball to attacker, once defender has passed ball they quickly move to ne of gates.
Attacker is looking to pick head up and dribble through empty gate.
Coaching Points:
- Eye contact before pass
- Quality of pass
- Head up as the ball travels
- Ball out of his feet
- Head up and acceleration after touch

Organization: 30x30
Instructions:
Defenders start by passing the ball, the attacker is then looking to score into either of the pug goals
If the defender wins the ball then they are looking to score in either counter goal.
Coaching Points:
- 1st touch out of feet to attack space
- Recognition if shot is on or whether you need to create space for shot at goal.
- End Product, Make sure that head is coming up early

Organization:
3v3 Small-sided tournament games: 4 teams of 3 players eachteam. 2 fields of 30x40 yards with 2 Pugg Goals on opposite endlines.
Instructions:
4 Teams of 3, play 3v3 tournament style format where each team will play one another. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss. Each game should be approximately 6-8 minutes in duration (obviously play a 3 game tournament).
Coaching Points:
· Review of session's learning outcomes being translatedinto the game
· 3 lines of attack
· Creating diamond (gives angles of support)
· Making diamond as big as possible (Creating space)
· Identifying any numbers up situations

Messi & Xavi Warm up (10 mins)
Organization: 1 player with a ball each, 2 players start at the top with 1 player starting at the bottom end.
Instructions: Play starts with the two players at the top with player A dribbling towards the bottom end using Messi touches, once player A gets over the line player B starts to dribble. Each player Xavi turns when they get to the end lifting head up straight away making eye contact with next player.
Players are pretending every other player is a defender and they are looking to penetrate the gaps in the opposition defense.
Coaching Points:
Messi:
Dribble pinky toe
Small quick touches
Head up as much as possible looking for gaps to penetrate
Xavi:
Realizing no space
Ball out of feet
Head up after turn
Acceleration after turn
Ronaldo:
Lots of space ahead, take bigger touches
Pick head up after every single touch
