Warm up 15 mins

Dynamic Stretching - Stretching while moving (5 minutes)

Warm up with a ball - (10 minutes)

Fundamentals 

- Directional first touch to pass

- First touch volley

- Bringing down with chest to pass

- Heading the ball

Organization:

2 players per area, 1 ball per area & 3 cones per area

Players without the ball preform fast feet, 2 feet in between each cone.

Once completed they scan by checking their shoulder, while in ready position.

Communicate they want a pass & preform a directional 1 touch across their body to pass.

Reset on the other side on the cones, restart. (1 minute per player then switch).

Player preform, volley, bringing down with chest & header in the same organization as directional touch.

Possession/ Switching Play15 mins

Topic: Switching play after gaining possession. (15 minutes)

Organization:

14 players involved above

2 - 15'X15' Squares.

4V2 in each square

Outlet players outside squares to switch play.

Players play 4V2 rondo variation & can move freely in squares.

When possession changes blue plays to blue outlet player who begins the switch to the opposite square.

Red does the same.

Who ever touched the ball last & loses possession switches with player who passed to neutral player after plays been switched.

Coach switches outlet players.

Ball goes out, coach plays back in.

Player must stay in their areas.

Switch to Finish15 mins

Topic: Switching play airborne to finish (15 minutes)

Organization:

45 yards in width & 30 years in length

Players rotate clockwise & quickly.

Split players up on to goals so everyone stays involved.

Player preform a quick passing combination (1 touch) to switch play.

Wide right player takes a touch, other high players time their run past the poles to receive an aerial diagonal through ball.

This is unopposed to start.

Proper crossing technique - lean back slightly, eye on the ball, contact on the bottom of ball, follow through

4v2 15 mins

Topic: Possession to switching play.

Organization:

20' area in width, 25' area in length

pinnies for defenders

6 players per area, above.

Players play 3V1 in one side of the area.

Possession team can switch the ball to the other side of the area when its available.

Once the ball switches sides the 2 wing players advance to the other side to aid in possession

Defenders have no restrictions.

If ball goes out, coach plays in.

If possession changes red plays to other red or to coach.

Players switch at coaches discretion.
