6v6 1/2 of your half of the field. Or Break your half into 4 areas and play 3v3 or 4v4 to cone goals.
Organization:
- break up half of a field into two fields (play quarter of field)
- cones, pinnies, balls, 10/12 players
5 v 5 or 6 v 6 games to 1 or 2 cone goals. Can dribble through cone goal or pass to teammate through.

Can restrict goal scoring - number of passes by team before scoring.
Coaching points:
- Be alert, always on your toes
- Open body to receive and have a positive first touch
- Look for space to attack or pass into gaps
- Look up to see team mates and make good decisions ( pass, dribble or shoot)
- Pass with inside of foot , center of the ball
- Communication, eye contact, demand for ball

8v8 - Use keepers (12 yds across for cone goals), 3-3-1 vs 3-3-1 (3 backs, 3 mids, 1 striker)

Organization:
- 10/12 players in an area of 25 x25, cones at outside mid point.
- cones, pinnies, balls
-cone goals on each end
Players in groups of 7 or 8, with two balls per group. Players 1 and 4 start with a ball. Players move around the area and pass ball to each other in number order, after 3-4 touches and a change of direction.
Progressions:
P1 - reverse number order
P2 - Play 2 touch
P3 - Play pattern, 1 touch to 2 touch to 1 touch, etc.
P4 - Send numbered defender over, defender wins and tries to dribble through closest cone goal or passes back to their side.. First defender to score wins.
