Triangular passing exercise:

4 grids 10yds x 10yds
3 players per grid
As players pass and move they try to create triangular shape (x2 options) for ball carrier

1 vs 1 Exercise
Organization:
2 grids 10yds x 15yds
A. Without the ball:
Player tries to beat defender using moves/feints etc. to get thru blue gates first
Attacker then becomes the defender
Defender joins line to be the next attacker
B. With the ball
Player has to beat defender & dribble thru blue gate first
Attacker then becomes the defender
Defender joins line to be the next attacker
Coaching Points:
A. Moves/ feints to beat players
Balance / light on feet
"Sell" the move
Use body movement to unbalance the defender
In control of body mechanics
B. same as above plus:
Keep ball close
Awareness of space
Acceleration after beating defender
Finishing on mini goal

1 vs 1 Exercise (progression)
Organization:
Same as previous exercise:
2 grids 10yds x 15yds
A. Without the ball:
Player tries to beat defender using feints etc. to get thru blue gate first
B. With the ball
Players has to beat defender & dribble thru blue gate first
Progression:
Once thru blue gate defender can recover to play 1v1 in back section
If defender wins ball they can score on mini goal
Coaching Points:
a. Moves to beat players
Balance / light on feet
"Sell" the move
Use body movement to feint
Correct body mechanics
b. same as above plus:
Keep ball close
Awareness of space
Acceleration after beating defender
Finishing on mini goal
Progression:
Transition if defender wins the ball they can go to mini goal

S.S.G - 4 vs 4 + 4
Organization:
20 x 30 Grid 4 Mini-Goals, all the balls with the coach.
x3 teams of 4 in different color pennies
The team of four "out of possession" are trying to steal the ball score in any of the 4 mini goals.
The team of 8 keeps possession using outside players as "bumpers" - x10 passes = 1point
Rotate the team "out of possession" regularly if they don't steal the ball
Purpose:
Attacking as a group with less numbers, vision of outside players
