This session is designed to improve the players finishing techniques & skills when outside of the 18 yard box.
1. The technical warmup is designed to improve the players finishing techniques in 3 different scenarios.
2. The small side game (1v0 into 1v1 into 2v1) exercise puts the attackers into different situations to finish on goal.
3. The conditioned game creates 4v3 attacking overload and also 2v3 attacking underload for the team in possession to exploit and score goals.

Organization:
Set up as shown.
Instructions:
1. The exercise starts from inside the finishing zone and look to play a one touch finish into either of the counter goals (1v0). Once player A finishes on goal, player A must quickly transition to defend against player B inside the finishing zone to play a (1v1).
2 Player B drives in quickly into the finishing zone and looks to finish on the large goal once player A finish on the counter goal. Player B has to be very quick to arrive into the finishing zone and also be creative when looking to finish under pressure in a (1v1) situation from inside the finishing zone.
3. Once the second phase of play is over between player A and player B, player C looks to either combine with player A against player B (2v1) to finish in either counter goal from inside of the finishing zone. Player C can also use player A as a decoy to go solo and finish on goal from inside the finishing zone.
4. Each phase of play is over once the ball is gets out of the finishing zone during play.
5. Players rotates anti-clockwise (A-B-C-A) after each round of play.
Coaching Points (Attackers):
1. Speed of execution.
2. Finishing on target while under pressure from the defender.
3. Change of pace with and without the ball.
4. Quality finish.
5. Quick transitions from attacking to defending.
Coaching Points (Defenders):
1. Closing down shooting angles while defending.
2. Defender should be brave, aggressive and stop the attacker from scoring.
3. Quick transitions from defending to attacking.
Progression:
1. Conditioned Game.

Set up as shown.
Instructions:
7v7 condition game including the goalkeepers, both teams look to play on maximum of three touches during the game until coach's call.
1. Blues play 4v3 inside their defensive half and play 2v3 in their offensive half.
2. Reds play 3v2 inside their defensive half and play 3v4 inside their offensive half.
3. Both teams must look to play forward into their attacking half by passing the ball through any of the three gates / flags to find their forwards.
4. Goals can only be scored from inside the attacking half.
5. Reds cones represents offside lines / restraining line for both teams.
6. Players are not allowed to play in the middle zone where the gates / flags are placed.
Coaching Points:
1. Quick combination play to finish on goal.
2. Quick improvisation to get past defender(s).
3. Quality finish.
4. Quick transitions (attacking & defending transitions).
5. Movements off the ball.
Progression:
Condition game progresses into a 7v7 practice game with the gates and conditions removed.

Technical Practice
Organization:
Set up as shown
Instructions:
The players are placed in different starting positions at the beginning of the technical practice.
1. The technical practice starts with player A playing in an entry pass into player B, with player B receiving the ball on the half turn to spin around the mannequin and finish on goal from outside of the box.
2. Upon finishing on goal, player B quickly moves towards player D to set up player D who looks to play a quick give & go to finish on goal.
3. As soon as player A sets up player D, player A looks to make another run around the mannequin and look to receive a diagonal pass from player C to finish first time on goal.
4. Rotations (A-B-C-D-A), GKs rotates after every round.
Coaching Points:
1. Weight and accuracy of passes.
2. Quick turn around the mannequin.
3. Quality finishing, accuracy vs power.
4. Quick movements on and off the ball.
5. Choice of finish.
Progressions:
1. On coach's call, the set up is re-adjusted to experience finishing from different angles and opposite foot.
2. Small Sided Game (1v0-1v1-2v1).
