Organization: Set up two gates about 15 yards apart, and two lines about 20 yards away from the midpoint of the two gates.
Instructions: Player must run through the gate without being tagged. If tagged or score a point, they immediately become the defender.
Coaching Points: -Eyes on defender, not just the gate you are going for.
-Use the defender's momentum against them.
-Use a move (do not have to) to make a quick change of direction; slow down slightly as you are about to perform the move then accelerate away.
-Do not give the defender the chance to recover.
Progressions: -Begin without the ball, then try with ball.
-With ball: add a line which attacker must at reach in order to be able to shoot.
-Adjust distance between the gates.

-Goalies can be neutral and distribute the ball wit their hands.

Organization: Cones scattered around grid.
Instructions: Players each find a cone, and practice doing V-Cut. Then they are given an amount of time to see how many V-Cuts they can do; they must dribble to a new cone to perform a V-Cut.
Coaching Points: -How to do a V-Cut: Pull ball towards you with sole off foot, then push if forward on an angle using outside part of same foot. Drawing a "V."
Progressions: -Can do any other ball mastery skills as well.
-Scattered cones would be different colors, and players would have to find a new color each time.
