Quick-paced, enjoyable exercise to work on close-range blocking with starfish / collection with smother
Four small goals with one GK in each goal
S1 passes to S2 (S2 approximately 2-3 yards max from each goal
S2 one-times a strike (reasonable weight) to one of the goals looking to score
GKs role is to block
Ball stays live until it is knocked out of the grid
- if GK catches, can strike/bowl to score in another goal
Repeat sequence
Progression: Can add fourth goal (make a square) if necessary/desired
CPs: Stay low, positive angles, quick reflexes, correct reads
Competitive: If get scored on = out to rest. S2 goes to GK, S1 to S2. Resting player to to S1

Players set up as shown (GK in Blue)
1 - Red on endline passes to Red on angle (about top of box)
- Follow pass then play 1v1 to goal (GK communicates, preps for shot, acts as second defender, closes if needed)
2 - White on endline passes to White on angle (about top of box)
- Follow pass then play 1v1 to goal again
3 - Server at top (Black) then decides to go 1v1, shoot, or provide free ball (GK responds with correct technical action)
Rotate counterclockwise (everyone has opportunity to be in goal, pass/defend, and attack)
CPs: Quality pass and receive (not just a GK exercise but everyone can work on something), quality communication (loud and clear), prep for shot, 1v1 technique(s), decision-making on technical action

Small field play 3 (or however many available) v. 2 goalkeepers
Can play on either small goals or large goals
Coach (in black) plays in one ball, attacking players can score on either goal.
Play for two minutes then change GKs.
Progression - GKs start with the ball and must pass to each other (within a few seconds) and if they lose it the attacking team goes to goal
Variation - two attackers v. one defender (from the three initial players) to incorporate communication from GKs and decision-making from attackers.
CPs: Awareness, angles, effort
