Setup: 2 15x15 boxes, near midline. 6 blue and 6 red plus a keeper. Balls near middle circle to keep play continuous.
Game: Game starts in one of the boxes. Blue starts with ball and this is a 3v3 rondo where blue tries to maintain possession. All other players must be centrally positioned (could place starting cones if needed). Once red wins the ball in the rondo, they immediately look to release down the line to the 9 making a run or to a forward advancing 10. Then all players release from the square as red attempts to score in 10 seconds or less.
Have play restart from any box and play both ways. Every restart is in a corner box. 6 and 10 always start inside the 18yd box near goal. 9 out. 3, 4, and 5 always start out on edge of 18 box.
If blue wins the ball, they try to immediately play ball wide and work it into one of the boxes. If red scores, then teams flip and red starts with the ball in a rondo in the box. If blue gets it back to the box, they start with rondo in the box.
Scoring: 1 pt for successful return to box or 1 pt for goal.
Duration: 3 five minute games with 2 minute breaks in between. (this is endurance game)

Setup: 40w (10x20x10) x 40L (20x20) Grid setup as seen with dimensions present. 4 blue, 4 red, 1 neutral, 2 keepers.
Game: Game starts with blue in possession in the blue shaded box. Blue works with neutral and tries to gain 5 passes and then they may shoot. If red steals, then they attempt to immediately play a ball to a red player or neutral into one of channels. Red then counters to goal looking for shot on goal from a ball played in from channel. Ball must be dribbled or passed back into central area. Blue attempts to recover and regain possession. If they do, they quickly counter by also working into channel and back in.
All restarts begin with rondo in the central shaded area. If a team scores, they get the ball back into their central box to attempt to score again. If a team loses possession out of bounds, the ball is given to the other team to start in their box with possession rondo.
Scoring: First team to score 5 wins and then restart.

Def to Off Rondo
Objective: This setup is to work on immediate change of attitude from defense to offense. (Can also work on trying to win ball back quickly after losing - defensive transition)
Setup: One 30x15 box split into two 15x15 boxes. Color coded for identification. 3v3+4n. (If you have more players set up another small box outside grid for 3v1 [4v2,etc]. If 1 wins it they try to split opponents with dribble or pass through a gate to score before they can get out of defense).
Game: Blue team starts with possession in blue square. they attempt to keep for 10 passes using themselves and neutrals. Red attempts to win the ball. As soon as red wins the ball, they must find an immediate pass into their box to either a red player or to a neutral running wide of their red box. (I.e. If player A wins the ball, player B runs into his box for outlet. Players C and D run wide for an outlet.)
When they gain possession in box they attempt to then keep control for 10 passes, and play continues in this way.
Progression: Add a passing gate on each corner of the big box (not middle) and attempt to get ball through gate for an extra point before then beginning rondo again inside the box.
Scoring: 10 consecutive passes or successful transition = 1pt (Progression: gate = 1pt)
Duration: 2 min games and then switch with players waiting if any or switch roles.
